||On May 14th, Howard Lodge No. 101 traveled to Cockeysville to attend the Grand Lodge Semi-Annual Communication, bringing Freemasons from across the state together under one roof to discuss our past, present, and future activities of Masonry throughout Maryland. Most Worshipful Grand Master Kenneth S. Wyvill, Jr. presided over the day's events, full of passionate discussion, extraordinary presentations, and enlightening sharing of ideas designed to solidify our efforts in supporting our tenets of brotherly love, relief, and truth.
Of special note, Past Master Kenneth Taylor was re-elected to the office of Right Worshipful Grand Secretary having served an exemplary first term and Past Master Paul Short accepted the Grand Master's Cup on behalf of our Members. This award signifies recognition for the most marching Masons in the previous year's Christmas Parade in Baltimore City; Howard Lodge No. 101 has won the Cup every year since it's creation by the Grand Lodge of Maryland, 8 years running. Additionally, Brother Samuel Rodriguez awarded Grand Master Wyvill, Jr. with an exemplar of the congressional gold medal that will be awarded to the members of the 65th Infantry Regiment in recognition of his support of this extraordinary project. As is always, our Lodge had the sun shining upon us for the duration of the event.
