||During the Stated Communication held on April 18th, Howard Lodge No. 101 held it's weekly fraternal meeting to discuss business crossing the desk of Worshipful Master John Everhart, Jr. and his Officer Line. Bills were paid, correspondence read, an application for membership was brought before the members, and a number of upcoming Masonic events were announced.
Additionally, Brother Samuel Rodriguez and Senior Steward Justin Knott presented Worshipful Master Everhart, Jr. with an exemplar of the gold medal that will be awarded to the members of the 65th Infantry Regiment over the coming months. Brother Rodriguez is the current Chief Executive Officer of the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony National Committee and has labored tirelessly on the group's behalf to obtain recognition for their exemplary service to our beloved country as the only active-duty segregated Latino military unit in US history.
Dinner was served prior and dessert after the meeting and shared among the Brothers and Guests. As usual, a good time was had by all and Howard Lodge No. 101 was closed in peace and harmony.
